Atrial Fibrillation Ablation

I am devoted to helping patients get rid of cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation using interventional cardiology techniques. In many cases, these techniques can help patients not only to feel better and live more securely but also to come off medications such as warfarin (Coumadin), which have potentially serious side effects. After my training in general internal medicine, I took on advanced special training in electrophysiology of the heart at such places as the University of Chicago, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Center for Innovative Minimally Invasive Therapy. Today I lead a team of physicians and scientists who develop and test all kinds of advanced treatments for arrhythmias. We run numerous clinical trials to advance our field. In 2014, I implanted the first miniature leadless pacemaker into a patient's heart. I have taught at Harvard University, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and the University of Miami and lectured from Israel to India. I have published hundreds of chapters and peer reviewed articles and review scientific submissions to medical journals such as Circulation. I take care of patients from throughout the United States and abroad.
