Hysterectomy (laparoscopic)

After training at Stanford University under the mentorship of some of the world's leading surgeons, I practiced general obstetrics and gynecology. After 4 years, I built my own women focused outpatient surgical facility. I have performed over 1,000 completely outpatient hysterectomies, pelvic prolapse corrections, fertility restoration cases, and elective cases such as cosmetic labiaplasty and vaginoplasty. Our complication rates are far below the national average and I have routinely lectured on the implementation of safe and successful minimally invasive surgical programs. I have taught surgeons internationally a cost effective and reproducible technique aimed at improving the quality and delivery of gynecologic surgery. I act as faculty in a Portland based fellowship program in Minimally Invasive Gynecology supported by Legacy hospitals and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. I have been a speaker at national and international meetings as a thought and key opinion leader in the business and clinical aspects of delivering quality outcomes to patients. I am dedicated to teaching safe and efficient surgical approaches and feel that collaboration is the key to success as we pay more attention to quality outcomes and true cost savings in healthcare. I take special pride in helping my patients before, during, and after surgery.
